The new Dr Who actor/persona is about to be announced. I heard a rumour that the BBC have been scanning UKC looking for new blood,

My vote is for Bruce Hooker, who else may have been given the job, or who should have been nominated?

Haven't watched any of the new doctor who series, but casting Peter Capaldi might well make me give it a chance.. ..awesome actor. Just watched one of the prime suspects a few weeks ago in which he plays a transvesite character called Vera. Great actor.

I didn't ( and usually dont) watch the "New Doctor Who" but if the trailer is for the new series then I certainly will..

I am not sure about the new Dr...he looks too much like an old one, a bit Jon Pertwee. I think Matt Smith is going to be a hard act to follow.

People will always say this after a good doctor but then imagine how hard it was to follow DT!
But I think PC is a fantastic choice. I have been a fan of his since the days of Local Hero and am really looking forward to seeing him in this new role.
