Recently my hard drive failed.
I am now running Mountain Lion and of course iLife is no longer around.
Before I buy iPhoto (again) is there an alternative you would recommend?
I also used iWeb and iMovie, so again, any advice as to what to use now?
Good question.
I didn't think I had it still, but guess what, it is in a back up external drive.
I don't know if it will install in Mountain Lion. Shall I try it?
I use Aperture which works well with iWeb. I wouldn't like to go back to iPhoto, it seems very basic now.
I don't know how other programs would work with iWeb.
In reply to Graham C:
I'd built this machine from a time machine backup so it just magically moved over. I'd try your backup and see if it works. I think you can selectively copy over what you need.
In reply to Graham C: Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 seems to be a good alternative. Not bought it yet though. Its about £30 I think and as far as I can tell does similar to iphoto but with better photo management and 'is a joy to use' according to webuser -whatever that means
