nice little video Rob. to my unexpert eye... you seem to be thinking about your shots a bit. some nice slow panning and zoom as the "actor" moves through the screen really adds an extra professional look to it. and your hand held pans are better than mine. was that all on a gopro?

can't listen to the music at the moment so no comments on that.

In reply to rallymania: Cheers. Yes all on a GoPro. Most of the panning done afterwards in Final Cut Pro because my hands are never steady enough! Always hard to belay two people and film too hence a bit of a lack of footage whilst on the main route which is a shame but goes with the territory!

In reply to Rob Johnson:

yeah, been doing a lot of thinking about that but not come up with anything worth while yet.

our heads move too much when climbing for helmet mounted to produce much good footage and we're too close to the rock for the chesty to be any use. (although i'm going to try using the cheststrap on my back with the camera facing down next time)

for guiding / leading, i wonder if you could fix the camera to a rock somewhere close by with a mini tripod and bit of gear holding it in place while you bring your seconds up?

In reply to rallymania: Yes have done that on shorter routes where the time constraints are less and it works well.
