In reply to Denni: I've watched that last couple of these and although I fist I expected it to be, well, a bit shit, it has turned out to be pretty good. So called evidence is DNA tested for the first time with some surprising outcomes <not wanting to give away spoilers> Last nights prog about the Russian Almasty turned out to be good too with the outcome of the DNA sampling quite shocking. And the SIZE of that Russian guy, jesus he was a mountain! A real demonstration of a bears double-step explained a lot and re-enforced the strength of the 'will to believe'.
Mark Evans is pretty easy going as the presenter, remember him from a car is born, a chopper is born etc <discovery> Worth a watch for sure.

Last weeks episode was quite interesting...the two sasquatch hunters who said they could communicate with the creature by bashing those logs against the trees in the forest. They rapped out a series of loud knocks and lo and behold a few seconds later, there's an answering BOOM from far away in the forest.

Repeated the taps, and again - BOOM

Even I struggled to think of an explanation for that.

Then the biologist guy suggested that there may be an other group of sasquatch hunters somewhere else in the forest, and the two groups are totally unaware of each other, and the second group may think the first group is the sasquatch, and think they are answering 'his' call.

A complete coincidence that has evolved independantly of each other.

In reply to Choss: The yeti episode was interesting, the sasquatch instalment ridiculous; the booming in the woods could easily have been their friends across the valley creating the 'response'? In fact the chap who thought he had shot a sasquatch was a sorry case. The Russia based episode was very interesting and distressing in equal measures, definitely the based of the 3.

I thought it was worrying that when faced with an unusual creature he'd never seen before in the woods, describing it as 'man shaped' and 'raising its hands in the air', his immediate reaction was to shoot it.

In reply to Denni:

Just watched almasty one.

Was the most interesting one i felt.

So, nothing really new From all 3.

The only Conclusion i Drew was that if any of them are real, lets hope humans never find them.

In reply to Denni:
Interesting i didn't find the Almasty one all that interesting or surprising. The guy showing how they "talked" was a bit mental. Although not as distressing as the mad americans.

I have to admit i was expecting the "wild woman" in russian to be someone that was disabled rather than the actual result.

Yeti one was interesting in that are they fake bear hairs or is there actually a rare brown/polar bear living at altitude around that way.

In reply to ThunderCat: I know, we said the same! All very odd
 Lukeva 05 Nov 2013
In reply to TomBaker: The 'wild' women element was fascinating, and truly despicable the way she was treated. Interesting if she was related to an early race of sub-Saharan folk
