Just watched Friday's HIGNFY. Really good episode where the host, Stephen Merchant, doesnt rely solely on the autocue for his pre-packaged jokes.

Clearly a funny man, perhaps a shout for permanent host?

Funniest episode for a while IMO.

I just watched it after reading this thread - great episode.

I saw his stand up routine a couple of years ago and that was very good too.
