In reply to craig.coid: Currently raining cats and dogs in Lochaber. Freezing level looks to be hovering just above or below the summit next few days and any snow and at the moment it looks like gales and fresh wet snow over the weekend. North East Buttress is slippery at the best of times and would is pretty grim in these conditions. Tower Ridge might just be possible if you are seeking a real battle in wet slippery conditions and gales but will not be pleasant. Its that 'not winter but far from summer' time of year when axes and crampons aren't really justified but holds will be wet, snowy and slippery. Why not go just a little lower and do Curved Ridge (or North buttress if you want more of a fight) on the Buachaille? If you've done them try Lagangarbh Buttress on the same hill. These should be below the snow line although still wet and wild.
