Bouldering near Aberdeen

Hello there,

I am visiting family in Aberdeen, Scottland November 13th-16th and was hoping to sneak off for a day of bouldering. I know weather is pretty lousy this time of year but just in case there is a dry spell anyone know of good bouldering areas close by? Or is there an indoor climbing gym in the city that's any good? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There's a decent indoor climbing wall in Aberdeen down on the beach front (Transition Extreme) but if it's weather to get outside, the best bouldering is to be found on the coast at Portlethen, a few miles south of the city (http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/crag.php?id=1669). Most problems are pretty quick to dry, though the landings are poor so you'll need a pad.
