HI,

I'm taking a group of kids to the scottish schools comp next month. The walls that are hosting the heats are Transition extreme, GCC, Alien 1, Gairloch, The peak and A vertical world.

I've been to most of these except The Peak (Stirling) and A vertical world (Dundee) what are peoples thoughts on these compared to GCC and Transition extreme.

Cheers

Avertical world is shorter than TE but is more technical. Nice wall though. Haven't climbed at The Peak but heard it was really small.
Dundee wall is similar to GCC and TE in that it has a feature wall as well as panels.
None of the routes are up yet so can't comment on them.

The Peak is pretty wee. Cafe is decent though.

Pretty sure I'm correct in sayint that the Gairloch wall was built by the guys who run AVertical World. The internal layout of the two places is different, but the routes are of a similar length and style.
