Anyone else enjoying series 2? <on the iplayer now to catch up>
I'm not really into period dramas at all but this is well acted, good script and storyline, great costumes and set and last nights episode with Joesph Merrick <the elephant man> displayed some fantastic make up and a historically accurate timeline. Good stuff!

In reply to wilkie14c: yup, watched the last series but lost concentration with it towards the end (I think that was more my fault than a fault in the series). I have seen the I think second episode of this series which is the one you refer to. Bloody enjoyable I thought and I look forwrad to wathing more.
I don't think that Matthew McFadden can make mistakes anyway so was certain to like it. His best role ever was in Life on Mars (or was it the later series with Keally Hawes?) as the man with bath of beans.
