White Ghyll yesterday

tee shirt weather but with small patches of hail/snow in the darkest corners

Brilliant

(Raven crag looked warm and busy as well)

Perfect conditions on the Stanage highballs too. And quiet, while the Plantation was predictably heaving. So impressive climbing on there though.

Beautiful. First E4 for me. I only ever climb hard moves below 5 degrees
In reply to John Kelly: It was lovely in Somerset but I'm rather pissed off as I didn't get out climbing...

However I did have a very successful gear shopping trip and picked up new softshell trousers & jacket, along with possibly my best bargain of the year a TNF Tadpole 2DL tent for £150, well under half price

I had a great day - I got Left Unconquerable which was my first proper E1 lead (I dont count TPS) then was feeling in the zone so jumped on an E2 and got that too. My best day of the year so far!

Missed out on climbing but managed 40 miles of peak district hills on the bike, beautiful autumn colours everywhere.

It was a fantastic day, a long time coming, we had a great scramble and walk around the Coniston fells.

Fantastic day! Stanage was rammed, but it was actually great to see so many people out enjoying the fells.
