Found this online, I thought it was nice. Needs a few reads to pick out details.
Culture Bunker doesn't get many posts...

Deep Play

Sweet repeats of thumping heart,
eyes glower down to the start.
Pull on red dream-catcher, my thread, my line,
threading once, once more, a stitch in time.

Observing myself I silently soar,
running - too soon, the unjustified more,
Digits will subtract the measure - I know.
with advice from death, I move, I flow.

Bitter fear, swallowed down with pride,
I check my ego, rip-burst inside.
Breathing deeper now, my dry hot breath.
Always one step closer. One step less.

Now terror of the disco, the mind a haze,
caring for n'owt...only a guiding phrase.
Look to the sun, who's wings wouldn't melt?
weight of the rope, the longing I've felt.

Touching sweet figure, an 'O', a place,
same goals, the numbers, the thrill of the chase.
Pulling, grabbing, loving-deep-play,
to the finish we go, if it takes all day.

Transform a motion, translated by self,
comfortably slowly - thoughts won't help.
Now tickling my way; a fool with a feather,
delicacy abund, a quiver, a tremor.

Falling from valley to sky, I entertain:
I wish I was dreaming, once again...
