I thought it was excellent,not really an autobiography,more a series of disconnected chapters/adventures/misadventures in no particular chronological order.
His writing style is very much his own,always interesting.The chapters on his work and gambling make an honest and welcome change from what you would expect in a climbing book.Some genuinely gripping stuff.
And as a mate said shaking his head sadly
"He falls off a lot for a soloist".
