anyone read it any good? is the writing style like jonny dawes or andy kirkpatrick?

as an aside has anyone read viva route? I thought it was mighty entertaining, like watching a car crash.

In reply to franksnb:
I thought it was excellent, not really an autobiography, more a series of disconnected chapters/adventures/misadventures in no particular chronological order.
His writing style is very much his own, always interesting. The chapters on his work and gambling make an honest and welcome change from what you would expect in a climbing book. Some genuinely gripping stuff.
And as a mate said shaking his head sadly
"He falls off a lot for a soloist".
Recommended.

In reply to franksnb: Reading it just now and finding it hard to put down. Lots of excellent stories of climbing and personal issues.

A quote I laughed at was " A rock hobo with nothing apart from 2 sticky rubber shoes and a chalk bag full of quite possibly the wrong sort of white powder for the adventure ahead."

Great man.
