Lens for yosemite

Off to yosemite next week. Tacking the camera and 20mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.8. Will i regret not talking the 150-500 ?

Be better off with any long lens than no long lens.

Hard to take a bad shot in the valley in my experience.

In reply to Nick Alcock: He wasn't using 35mm film though, so make sure you equivalise the focal lengths.

Yosemite is interesting that you can't get close to anything really - climbers on el-cap are mere specks, and the valley is a mile or so across. I think a long lens will be useful.
