Heat pump systems for passive house

So my new house has a Nilan vp18 heating system which extracts and filters air continuously in the property - using ambient temperatures to maintain comfort and hot water.

What I'm failing to understand is how much electricity will I pay for running 2x fans (within the unit) 24/7.

Can anyone make a stab in the dark for me? I've been told by Friday the engineer who just replaced said fans (at £1k for the pair! ) that the electricity should be cheap - although I doubt I'm saving £1k a year...

In reply to SARS:

based on my experience (with a different system) the fans will be about 60 w each and thus use about 1000 kw/hr a year. At 14p a kw/hr that's about £150 ish.

The heat pump might use anything from another 1,000 to 4,000 kw/hr depending on your usage, air temperature and so on so add another £150 to £600.

Heating the house is on top of that.

Great thanks very much for the comprehensive reply.

Overall I like the concept. I was a lot less enthusiastic about having to replace two very expensive fans after they've only been installed for about 2-3 years!
