It seems that you can't reply to your own posts. I've raised this on the thread about major forum changes. I came across this restriction after I was unable to edit a post due to it being too big. You used to be able to do this as it was effectively a postscript.

You can edit it and add extra comment, or, once the time limit has run out, you can reply to your own post.

Note really sure what the problem is here.
