Over the last year or so I've been slowly coming to grips with Popper's work. I've been particularly intrigued by his theory of falsifiability. I'm still making up my mind on it but I happened on this the other day:

It's as good an intro to the theory as I've found. The first few pages are a fascinating insight into the origin of the theory and the workings of a great mind.

In reply to DaveHK:

I'm quite a Popper fan - I find myself using his ideas as a BS detector a lot these days. If someone talks to me about something that isn't falsifiable (works well on the usual suspects: intelligent design, astrology...), I'm very suspicious.

It's certainly a powerful tool for cutting through all sorts of humbug. But is the theory of falsifiability falsifiable itself?
