There's apparently a trail runner Benoit Lagrée who has been missing in Martinique for the last week. I was asked by a colleague of his whether I had any SAR contacts that could help with this. Unfortunately I don't really, but I thought there was a slight chance somebody here might know somebody on the island who might be able to help or advise?
It sounds like the authorities on the island may not be well set up for a search, and his family and friends are desperate to help but don't really know what if anything they can do that will be constructive. Anybody here got contacts on the island?

What they are hoping to do is to send personnel and a search dog to the island to help with the search, but I get the impression they might benefit from local informed advice about whether there are other more helpful/practical things they could put their efforts into. Any assistance would be greatly received...
