Can anyone tell me whether it's possible to download a logbook as an excel document, or a format that excel can understand rather than just that standard huge bulk of text from the web page. Boring topic, thanks for any help.

Just go to "my logbook" and click "download all". That'll give you a .csv file download for use in excel
