Hello,

I have been looking at trying to find work in an outdoors centre for the next six months as an instructor or helper. I have contacted some places I know of but was wondering whether anyone can recommend a particular outdoors centre they know of, particularly adventure centres where boarding would be a possibility? I have no qualifications at the moment (although in the process of getting some) but have extensive and varied experience of a range of outdoor activities.
Many thanks

Have you looked on the IOL and Bluedome websites?

Tough time of year to find work but most places are now advertising for the summer '14 season.

A lot of centres have on site accommodation options.

I wrote a piece recently about how I became an outdoor instructor:

Try the Bendrigg Trust - it won't be paid but accomodation (very nice!) and food is provided. Really good crew, I spent many happy weeks there after first going for a gold DofE residential.
