Found one at a great price and on paper perfectly suits my needs. I understand they have fixed the slow AF with the firmware update.

Has any body used one? Thoughts and opinions? Quite interested in how it performs at higher ISO (1600>)

Any info appreciated

They have a problem when being carried if you touch the screen you change setting/s, have a look on Amazon under the Ref for this camera, apart from that all looks good

it's a reasonably big sensor for the camera size. so high iso noise will be lower than similar sized cameras i suppose. af is slow os its not great for sports.

found it for 229

Just thought that would be the same for any touch screen! so dismiss my first post.

Good camera for £299!

I loved it apart from the AF. Brilliant image quality and highly usable but the AF just wasn't up to it. Replaced with a Fuji X-E1 which I should have just got the first time.

Thanks all. Ordered for £229, had a play with updated firmware model and AF is much improved. For that price it feels like a bloody good deal. Suits my needs for now as a replacement for my dead 500d
