I posted a question a few weeks ago about the difference between a Boulder problem and a route. Some great responses came back. But what about Bouldering as an activity in its own right? What would you say are the minimum number of moves for it to be a Boulder problem? Is it just 1 move? Like a static Dyno?

I don't think the number of moves is a very good measure of anything. The Joker is a good one move boulder problem and the Wheel of Life is a very good problem with ~70 moves.

Good point, there is a crackin dyno on the lower tier of the Roaches for example so I agree with you on that. However, the number of moves, particularly if they are of a sustained sequence surely are a good measure of something. Thats how we grade things isn't it? But anyway thats more to do with routes.

Think I'll drop this one.
