Happy New Year to All :-)

It's half eleven on New Year's Day, and I can't find a genuine, happy, well-wishing Happy New Year thread anywhere. There's a few which are somewhat miserable and more "Unhappy New Year to All", but none of the more classic sort.

So I thought I'd start one.

So, to all and especially sundry, I wish you all a happy new year, hope that you climb everything you want, you achieve all your goals, your lives are full of happiness and beauty and your discourse on UKC delights you.

I agree John, if you can't try to be positive on the first of January, when can you. A very happy New year to all on UKC.

If anyone is miserable today they should start looking at their lives. Starting yet another year is the best thing that can happen. Make the most of it, the alternative is not good.
