If you take an interest in the skies above, then you might like the following web-sites.
They are from all-sky cameras located underneath the Auroral Oval in the Northern Hemisphere. Some are from Geo-magnetic observatories, some are amateur back garden ones.

Not the same as being there I'm sure, but fantastic just the same.
Eagle eyed astronomers will notice the Milky Way, Jupiter in Gemini and the Plough to name a few.

Looks like we have some nice activity tonight. You need to keep refreshing the image to watch the arcs and curtains develop. Enjoy.
