Up for the cup..

FA Cup third round starts tomorrow, with the First and Second Division* teams entering the competition. Who's your fancy for a successful day out at Wembley in May: another of the lesser-fancied teams to do a Wigan, or one of the so-called bigger clubs? Will money talk or will there be a day to gladden the hearts of football romantics?

Though I'm not a fan of theirs, I could see Liverpool winning it this year. Thoughts...?

* I still think of them like this..

I found these comments quite disappointing (I can't find the original article)

Unfortunately, the commercial nature of the Premier league has sadly taken some of the shine off the FA Cup in recent years, but it's a terrible state of affairs if clubs don't feel the need to put any effort into it any more. If that's the case, why not cull the League cup?

If Spurs can beat Arsenal today then I will put money on them reaching the final!
We can live in hope at least.
