Late last year I had to change to Windows 8 and consequently have had to use either the mail system that came with Windows 8 or Windows Live Mail. I hate both of them. I find that messages I want to keep seem to disappear and I can't find my "Sent" messages(Yes - I've looked in the folder) I'd be much happier if I could use Outlook Express. Anyone know if there's any way I can get it back?

Windows Live Mail on Windows 8 looks just like Outlook? All my sent stuff is in the Sent folder.

In reply to alexcollins123 & Kipper: For some reason I have have trouble in finding some messages. I know I received an email in early December from a friend but I can't find it anywhere Why can't Microsoft leave well alone?

you and no longer get outlook express on windows8 - you'll need a third party client like Mozilla Thunderbird.
