Whatever happened to them? Debate about them seems to have gone quiet. I have a strong suspicion that the Government has slipped in a Tread Mill Tax and driven them underground, or has there been a spate of aggressive runners chasing the pilots on treadmills and getting bopped for their efforts?

Guess they managed to take off and fly away after all. Argument settled, eh?

I'm glad they disappeared. It was only a matter of time before O'Leary saw them and by inverted reasoning decided that treadmills inside the plane might be a good idea.

The plane will take off, irrespective of the treadmill. :p

give over, you can't drive a plane underground be it on a treadmill or not.

The treadmills were on the Somerset Levels and hence are underwater now.
Unsure if the planes managed to take off first.

If planes take off when you put them on a treadmill, how do they test the brakes for the MOT?

I'd have thought this would take off a few mm from a treadmill.
