Predicting which way things will go on the Scottish mountains may well be pissing in the wind, but in my naive and optimistic opinion, I wonder if the current snow conditions on Ben Nevis and The Cairngorms could mean a longer than usual Winter season.
Has anyone experienced a February like this before?
It does fit a pattern that's been noticeable--warm but lots of precipitation. How that will pan out on the ground is, I fear, a multi-solution equation. Who knows?
