Heading up to Linn of dee this weekend hopefully for some climbing. Thinking best bets local bets to be on cathedral (magic pillar etc), shadow buttress or black spout buttress on lochnagar, or trying a look into dubh loch or eagle (you never know!). Not really wanting to venture around and into northern side for stag rocks etc to be honest. Anyone have experience in similair conditions (if there is such a thing) of the mentioned routes or any other options.
Worst case scenario is a ski, bothy night or newtyle :O)

I'd be very surprised if magic pillar didn't have a huge cornice above it at the moment. Black Spout Buttress may be ok, iff you can approch it safely.

Aye I'd second that. Magic Pillar exits onto a snow slope and it'll be bogging!
