Roughly when are the schools and universities off for Easter?

Schools are the 2 weeks with Easter in the middle

Stirling and Glasgow are the fortnight running up to Easter, plus the Monday after, this year (Sat 5th - Mon 21st April 2014, inclusive)

Usually, but it wasn't last year round by us, it was the 2 weeks before - the Monday being an extra one.

Easter seems to be after the school holidays in some areas with the Easter weekend being the 19-21 April and the holidays starting at the beginning of April!

Same for parts of Manchester. I overheard two teachers bitching about it.... not that I can remember what it is like to have two weeks holiday at Easter.

Though this year easter is later ,so some areas have hols leading up to easter then back straight afterwards on the tuesday.

In Warrington for example, the 'Easter' holiday is now 'fixed' and no longer floats with EasterTherefore Easter can fall on any one of five Sundays, which will be somewhere around that fortnight... And, then, not all schools in Warrington subscribe to this. Academy and Free Schools can please themselves...
