Just back from a great weekend in Nottingham and record participation in the National XC. I wasn't supposed to be running, although I had an entry, but as I was needed to make up a team, I set aside the fact that I've been injured and not been able to train properly for a few months and ran.
Lovely course and great running with a little mud and even a tree trunk to hurdle. I notice from the results that I out sprinted fellow UKCer, LiamM, to the line and wondered if any other UKCer had run.
I was about 450 places lower down the field than last year, but to be expected I suppose.
