But you're right in one way: it's unbelievable how, yet again, a helmet-mounted GoPro fails to give anything but a very vague idea of what went on. The footage of the actual fall seems strangely lacking in drama - it makes it look like he fell all of about 6ft.

(I do hope John Freeman's risk assessment is a little more rigorous when he's being a rope access supervisor.)
