Evening all.

I'm in the process of creating a small gym at home and I'm looking to spend about £1000 on a treadmill. My local gym is increasingly crowded and my knees don't stand up well to road running anymore. Current favourite is the BH Fitness F8 Treadmill. These seem to have a longer warranty than most which suggests the manufacturer is confident in what it makes. The spec is pretty good for the price too (£999).

Does anyone have any recommendations? Never bought a treadmill before so it's all new to me. Any makes to avoid? Any makes worth looking at?

I was keen on a nordic till I ran on it, deck flexes like hell. Went for a horizon t8, I think, much stronger. Spend your money on featutes like a more powerful motor before fans and other gizmos.
Horizon after sales is pretty good too.
Just consider what max speed and incline you need too.
Having different training programmes is also useful.

Horizon is another manufacturer I like the look of. A few of their models are currently on my 'possible' list.

Nordic initially looked tempting but I came across a review website which absolutely tore them to shreds so was put off somewhat!
