/ Elergy - How do you do it?
I've tried this twice now and can't fathom how to do the step round the bulge onto the slab. Is their a trick to it or do I have to just stand and balance?
Kick your right leg up onto the opposite wall of The Bulger crack, that tips your balance over enough to sidle round the bulge,
But maybe with a lower side runner
Don't think just feel... find the balance point
Really? Not how I did it.
I hug the bulge - give it a really good squeeze, and just make sure I can see where my right foot's going to go as I tip my weight onto the left.
It's an amazing route Tom, you'll love it. But beware: first time I got lost on the slab and couldn't get onto the blind finishing flake. I stood on a decent foothold, miles above the gear in the rattly flake, for about 45mins, and then called for a top-rope. Second time I went the right way and those final moves were still very intense.
