Really? Not how I did it.
I hug the bulge - give it a really good squeeze, and just make sure I can see where my right foot's going to go as I tip my weight onto the left.
It's an amazing route Tom, you'll love it. But beware: first time I got lost on the slab and couldn't get onto the blind finishing flake. I stood on a decent foothold, miles above the gear in the rattly flake, for about 45mins, and then called for a top-rope. Second time I went the right way and those final moves were still very intense.
