Hi

I've spent a couple of weekends recently around Fort William recently climbing on the Douglas Boulder and the Buchaille.
However headup for a long weekend with my girlfriend to be a bit more cultured, see sights and easier walks.
Thus my question, will the be lots of snow in the Cullins (hopefully not)?
Or can we get up to a decent hight in relative safety, i.e. no need for serious roping up (she has got walking crampons, but a grade 1 or 2 is the most I'd like to do).

Thanks
Stuart

In reply to Stuart Wildman: I wouldn't be going near the Cuillin tops without winter gear right now. Maybe walking into the Corries or something really low down but not for the actual ridge or anything above 700m(ish?).

In reply to Stuart Wildman:

Try going for a walk into Camasunary bothy and stay. Sgurr ns Stri is a gorgeous little mountain on the doorstep that gives a superb scramble to perhaps the best view in the UK. Weekend sorted.
