Leaflet from the yes campaign popped through the door this morning telling me that "An independent Scotland will be the most powerful nation in Europe". Bit of a kick in the teeth for yes voters who thought they might be voting for a different kind of politics, free from blatant lies and propaganda. Oh well.

Yep, although followed by genuinely strong points in Scotland's favour (oil, renewable energy, good quality universities etc.) but just not enough to make us the most powerful nation in Europe!
