Any amateur (or professional) plumbers in the house?

Morning all,

I've just moved into a new house (which is also pretty new - c2.5 years) and there are some loose taps on some of the bathroom basins.

The first thing i need to try is to tighten the back nuts of the taps/fixings but when I actually get behind and underneath the basin my conventional spanners/wrenches can grasp the nut but there just isnt any room to turn it to tighten on the thread.

Is there a special tool which plumber use which can do this kind of work? I cant of course use a standard socket set either as there are pipes coming out from the bottom.

Make sense?

YES! A tap wrench. Its one of those tools you can't do without but once you have it you'll never use it again!

Ah, UKC does it again. Those basin wrenches with the bar at the bottom to get the purchase look just like what i need.

Thanks all.
