Hi All,

Going to Geyikbayýrý in a few weeks and was wondering what facilities if any there are in the village?

Bar, food shops, kebab joints!

Cheers

Not a lot in the village itself - a small shop (and a cafe restaurant some way up the road) - but some good places to eat along the valley nearer the cliffs. There's an occasional market at the start of the cliffs. More + big market in the next village down (bus/longish walk/hitch)

The fish restaurant (don't be alarmed by the decor!) the Trout - is great and very cheap

Climbers Garden has a bar + some food
JoSiTo - similar (cheaper)

And the one further down from those two right under the cliff does great food.

Been a couple of times for Easter & once at New Year
You'll be fine beginning April, just need to start reasonably early & think about shade, but always possible on main wall if you're willing to move a bit
guidebook has shade indications
Trebenna always shady but limited in the lower grades

Josito does good food, not eaten in Climbers Garden, market (Sunday I think) well worth a stroll round, and climbing on Alabalik then visiting the Alabalik resto is excellent followed by the obligatory getting lost on the return path - can you solo 5c after lots of Raki?
