Great clip of Whillans and Bonnington on Dovedale Groove from the Lakeland rock series is now on YouTube. I'm not sure if its been posted on here before but well worth a watch. I don't know how to put a link on tablet but type Don Whillans Dovedale groove into youtube.Easy to find!

Really impressed by their faith in that rope - Chris belayed at the top of pitch 2, secured to the stance by chockstone runners (?), bringing up 14-stone Don, with rope tied around his ample waist.

Gripping viewing for 1985-1986(?)
