What the hell is going on with the rope attached to the guy dressed all in blue??????

Is it just my eyes, or is he seconding something with an outrageous amount of slack hanging below him????

So what's the deal with the huge amount of slack in the white looking rope heading off to the right? That then heads up the cliff to an unseen end point?

Maybe the figure is still stood on the belay and the unseen leader at top is taking the rope in? That, or a sporting amount of slack is being left for the poor second

I did get the magnifying glass out, but there is a belayer up there and there is a rope going straight up from the climber, that being the line of Seeds of Destruction I think, the right-hand rope up the line of The Reaper. As for why, Andy will probably come on and explain.
