North East lectures????

I am from the North West but came to live in Durham 2 years back, I was initially really surprised and also happy about how vibrant the climbing scene is up here!

I like every now and then to go and listen to top climbers talks and satisfy my inner geek.

However I'm noticing more and more that seldom is a north east venue included on most tours, why??

Any ideas?
