At an average of over 7 Munros a day, that's some going as once you get away from the main groups they become rather scattered and not easy to link up. Good luck to the man.
Job Done!
Dan completed his journey on Tuesday morning, on Ben Hope. Although missing out on the record he still finished in an astonishing 42 days! http://danmunro2014.blogspot.co.uk
Apologies, and thanks steelbru for pointing that out. I will check with Dan whether the on-line schedule is accurate. I was counting elapsed time, and, if accurate, it would in fact be 43 days as Dan set off at 0830 on the 14th April, and reached the summit of Ben Hope at 0822 on 27th May.
Edit….
Dan is currently enjoying a well deserved holiday with his family but there does seem to be an error on the on-line schedule. Actual elapsed time (including the 2 rest days) was 42 days, 23 hrs and 52 mins.
