Yesterday we blithely left my ab rope hanging down the Crithmum/Sunsmoke descent at Mother Carey's, only to find later that the rising tide had got it wedged tight under a rock. I tried to get it unstuck and earned a soaking for my efforts, unfortunately we didn't have a knife with us so had to leave it in-situ. I hope someone visiting at low tide can retrieve it and earn themselves a good bit of crag booty. It's about seven years old so probably best used just for abbing, but should be fine for that. If it's stuck irretrievably then if someone with a knife could cut it free that would be fantastic...
