Interesting shift: some folk have put up "videos" of Scottish winter stuff on the winter forum, and while they are well done and have nice music they're not (with one brief exception I think) moving pictures: they're montages of stills strung together, panned in an out of (usually just panned out of) to give a sense of movement.
I was disappointed they didn't move, as that's what I think of as a video and while of course I have seen this sort of thing before it seems a new visual form to me. Has it got a name?
