Agree with Hat Dude,my favourite Hoskins performance was in Potters 'Pennies from Heaven'. A great programme which needs reshowing.

I like the bit in "Shattered" where he falls in the sewer and goes under (I think he's been shot) and is clearly a goner....then turns up a few miles downstream having used a standard Ventolin asthma thingy as a SCUBA tank. It takes a great actor to get through that kind of "reappearance" scene without collapsing into fits of giggles.
