Was wandering around Blackwell dale a couple of days ago and noticed a small sport crag 50m or so above the Paint it Black bit of the dale. It looked like there were 3 or 4 fingery, bouldery routes about 2 bolts long. Anyone know what it is or have a topo?

Beginner's Wall is about 50m down the dale from Paint it Black, same side of the road, steep path up to it. No idea of anything up the dale.

I think you're talking about Beginner's Wall.
In reply to Stig:

Its not beginners wall. Its directly above the paint it black bit on the same side of the road.
In reply to galpinos:

50m up the hillside not 50m up the road
In reply to Somerset swede basher:

For anyone interested apparently it's called Marks Roof and all 3 routes go at 7b+, not sure what they are called though.

If Zippy is true to form they will be hard for the grade. He said they feel bigger than they look when you are on them
