Without being 'bored' is somewhat subjective - you either want to get strong or you don't, if you're not motivated then no amount of interesting exercises will change that. That said, at your local boulder wall, get on the wall that is 20 degrees overhanging or so. Make up a traverse of a moderate difficulty level, but not something you'd fall off easily. Climb ten moves, reverse to the beginning, rest for ten seconds - repeat in increments of 10-15 moves up to around 100 moves - you'll soon find yourself getting good and pumped, but not to the point that you fall off. If you are falling off, drop the difficulty of the traverse slightly. If it seems easy, make the traverse harder.
