Dog crates - camping

Our 14 week puppy still sleeps in her metal crate but we are looking at camping soon and was wondering if people can recommend anything.

The metal create does fold down but even so takes up a decent amount of room and is heavy.

She often takes her self off to her crate and seems to be reassured by the closed in environment also.

Was looking at this type of thing V=http://www.berriewoodwholesale.co.uk/big/878/Midwest-Canine-Camper-48-Lx31-...

She is a collie labrador cross and we would be looking at something which may be future growth proof. She is a chewer of balls and toys but not really of the crateor her bed etc

Mine just goes in the tent but I saw this. I have used and recommend the company.

Big enough for our Husky - always take it when we go camping. Highly wortwhile I'ld say.
In reply to idiotproof (Buxton MC):

We either have the dog in the tent or in the car, isolate the boot with a good grill/bar set and pack with home comforts.

Thanks everyone... dont want to spend loads as hoping she may eventually be Ok just in the tent so both those options seem OK
