Real shame that we could lose such a fantastic venue due to the actions of a small minority.

Just thought I would bring this to peoples attention for those who don't know the access situation.

Thanks for updating us on this dismal situation. ... And, true to form, most UKCers don't appear to give a damn. Not one comment in three hours. Actually, I'm not nearly as optimistic as Alan on this thin end of the wedge thing. We live in a greedy, selfish society, in which many young people seem less enlightened, not more, and in about 50 years I suspect that most of our traditional crags will either be shut, highly restricted, or completely trashed with bolts. How can there be any room for optimism when a crag which has been open (with seasonal restrictions that have always been respected) for half a century is closed because of a dispiriting number of completely blinkered tw*ts?
