I have some quite specific requirements. I'm familiar with the usual online suppliers, but I've always bought laptops from a shop. There don't appear to be any laptop shops any more though, apart from the appalling PC World. So how do I try one out? Is there a proper shop left?
Here's what I want, if anyone has any suggestions.
Windows
Decent CPU
8GB or upgradeable RAM
13" to 16" screen, Minimum 1920x1080 res
Good touchpad with proper buttons
Reasonable keyboard
Ethernet and external monitor sockets
Max 2kg
I don't care about 3D graphics or pose value
Budget £1k
