Went to have a look at Holy,Holy,Holy on Saturday and noticed the hangers were missing from Launching Pad. They were definitely there in October ('cos I clipped them!) - and they seem to have been there in May of this year as there is an ascent logged. I can't see anything on the BMC access database to suggest why they've been removed. Any ideas?
We also saw a Ring Ouzel and a very vocal pair of Choughs which was a treat.
Likely to do with the whole Dali's Hole long-running access saga. A lot of hangers were removed from Dali's Hole routes to discourage the large groups that were using it and thus jeopardising access to the quarries.
Think this was heavily cleaned (chipped) in the 80s and then retroed without knowing it had already been climbed at about E4 6a. Could be a rather overdue attempt to return it to the original state. More likely just the quarry fun police though.
